Our intentional community of volunteers is here to welcome you home, to nourish your mind, body and soul with quiet contemplation, homemade vegetarian meals and valued conversations. Our facilities include a log lodge (sleeps 15-18 guests), hermitage (space for 1), and cottage (sleeps 2-6). ARC OFFERS: ninety acres of pristine wetlands and woodlands featuring majestic white pine forest. Trails for walking, skiing, snowshoeing. A labyrinth for walking meditation. Spiritual Direction, reiki or therapeutic massage (with advance notice). Homelike atmosphere in large group meeting spaces and private space for individuals. A secluded hermitage in the woods. A log-built cottage ideal for couples, families, or small groups. Healthy homemade meals featuring fresh ingredients, often organic or locally grown. Accommodation of special dietary needs. Twice-daily silent group meditation for those who wish to participate. Space and time apart for writers and artists to hone their craft. Environmentally friendly practices.
