Answer: Assistance League of North Coast (ALNC) is dedicated to serving the needs, primarily of disadvantaged children, in the communities of Carlsbad, Oceanside and Vista with the goal of providing a positive starting point for academic success. Ensuring that school age children who live below the poverty line can attend school with adequate clothing, shoes, school materials, books and other supplies gives them a positive starting point for learning and academic success. A nonprofit volunteer organization, our chapter is composed of over 180 dedicated members who identify, develop, implement, and fund philanthropic programs to serve the unmet needs of children in our community. We are a dynamic philanthropic presence, with membership growing along with requests for expanded programs to serve many needs.
