Answer: The Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum celebrates the history of the racing, design and function of motorsports. What began in 1988 as a private collection, the museum, a 501(c)(3) foundation, is home to over 1,800 motorcycles that span over 100 years of production. More than 1,000 bikes can be seen on any given day, and 200 different manufacturers from 20 countries are represented in the collection. The museum, housed on the grounds of the Barber Motorsports Park, is an architectural work of art itself, intending to evoke the strong, gritty elegance of motorsports. The museum represents the worlds largest motorcycle collection and the most extensive Lotus car collection. Home to the Barber Advanced Design Center, the museum also delivers forward-thinking global thought leadership in motorsports and industrial design.
