Answer: The BCI-Dahlgren team primarily supports the U.S. Navy by helping to define and engineer future ship, unmanned air and combat systems. The experience of our engineers and previous ship operators and maintainers plus our cadre of Human Factors Engineers provide a unique capability to determine future system performance parameters based on sound operational and engineering principles. Since 1995, our systems engineering team has worked on the leading edge of technology in developing advanced concepts for combat systems, training, maintenance, human-systems integration, and command and control. BCI's Dahlgren office opened in August 1995 with two employees, launching a new business thrust for BCI in the areas of combat systems, training, and readiness support. Within six months, BCI-Dahlgren was awarded a 5-year, $7 million contract by NSWC Dahlgren. BCI's growth has been noted for both 1998 and 1999 in Inc. magazine's Inc. 500 list of America s fastest-growing private companies. Today our team consists of over 80 engineers, professional staff and senior consultants supporting a diverse set of customers including NAVSEA, NAVAIR, the Marine Corps and various Navy PEOs
