Answer: The California Mountain Biking Coalition is a 501c4 nonprofit organization, incorporated in 2019 in the State of California. We grew out of the recognized need for a unifying state-wide platform for mountain bikers in California. CAMTB is comprised of 30 California-based, bike-friendly trail stewardship organizations working hard to expand trail access for bicycles in California while protecting the natural landscapes we love to ride, and the trail systems that take us to, through, and from them. Together with our member community, we advocate for more and better bike-friendly trails by: 1) Engaging major land managers, like CA State Parks and the U.S. Forest Service 2) Tracking and influencing State & Federal legislation and elections 3) Activating the larger mountain biking and gravel riding community
