After realizing the demand for this type of service, and after extensive market research, Bunny hired several employees, engaged them in a rigorous training program, and began her quest to provide the highest quality cleaning service available, at reasonable rates. In 1987, while attending the University of South Carolina, Marlo McKelvey Kanipe, Bunny's daughter, joined the company. Although Bunny has retired, Marlo continues to own and manage the daily operations of Deserved Comfort and still emphasizes quality service, client satisfaction and reasonable rates. She resides in Cayce with her husband, Ralph, is a loyal Gamecock fan, and enjoys spending her spare time with her family and friends.
