Answer: GBOD Hospitality Group was founded in 2012 by brothers Raymond and Patrick Davoudi with the opening of Meze Greek Fusion in San Diegos Gaslamp Quarter. Building on the success of Meze, the brothers engaged in a partnership with hospitality veteran Joe Santos and the trio set their sights on creating a portfolio of dynamic hospitality brands. In 2017, GBOD took over operations of Prohibition, an underground speakeasy, and introduced two new concepts: El Chingon Bad Ass Mexican and Havana 1920, each located in the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter. The hospitality group expanded to a new market in 2020 with the opening of El Chingon in Fort Worth, Texas.
