Answer: Starting a machine shop was a dream of Norm’s that grew while working in the trade for 15+ years. In 1979 he went out on his own with a small amount of equipment, one customer and the goal of becoming a successful Entrepreneur. While working at home for 4 years, business grew and he moved down the street to our current location. He hired full time employees and brought on his son Dan to learn and help run the family business. In 1995 Hillsgrove Machine became a Corporation and continued its success. Since then, Dan has taken over the operations of Hillsgrove Machine Inc. and continues to hold his father’s original vision and dream for the company’s future. Over the years, with the help of our dedicated staff, we’ve grown and expanded operations and now have a state of the art seven thousand square foot manufacturing facility. Through the culmination of hard work, honesty, and determination, this business which made it’s start in the basement of Norm’s home, has grown into a thriving company that prides itself on quality and excellence.
