Based on the success of the events, in 1997 the company ventured into bridal attire, as a result, Elegant Brides was birthed in Hallandale, Florida. Elegant Bride's popularity grew almost overnight, created waves in the industry as the first bridal boutique in the South Florida area to offer a complete line of African inspired and traditional wedding attire. In September 1998, Elegant Brides was recognized and honored as the New Business of the year by the Miami-Dade Chamber of Commerce. Jacqui is an experienced professional who has enjoyed an incredible career for over thirty years working in the Hospitality and Events industry in the United States, Mexico, and the Caribbean. She is driven by results and has established a solid track record of success in creating winning solutions for her clients. Satisfied clients are her number one priority thus Jacqui and her team ensures that win-win opportunities are realized by all stakeholders. One of Jacquis career highlights was the opportunity to return to her home country of Jamaica in 2002 to drive the sales effort for the Caribbean market at the Wyndham Rose Hall Resort & Spa in Montego Bay.
