Answer: Mini-Macs journey began back in 1970. We were born out of a love for creating. Delbert McNamee, better known as Mac, always loved tinkering with machines. In 1974, Mac purchased a used single-spindle screw machine that was manufactured in the 1940s. Over the next few years, Mac rebuilt and retooled the machine to manufacture NAS42 and NAS43 spacers. By June of 1979, Mac started selling aerospace spacers to the public. In March of 1980, the demand outgrew Macs one-man capabilities, so his son, Bob McNamee, decided to join the family business and he helped make Mini-Mac what it is today. Carrying on Mac and Bobs vision, Mini-Mac is being led by its 3rd generation and is upholding its roots as a family-run company that focuses on the details. Now, 45 years later, Mini-Mac has several single-spindle screw machines, a number of employees on staff and manufactures millions of parts per year.
