Answer: Purchase Youth Village is a 24-bed Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF II) located in Benton, Kentucky. PYV offers psychiatric, behavioral, and substance abuse treatment services to residents ages 8-17, both male and female. The facility provides a variety of services on site to address the identified treatment needs which include: -Weekly face-to-face psychiatric services -Case management, individual, family and group therapy provided by Social Services/Clinical Department -Nursing care and medication management services provided by Nursing Department -Recreational activities and Leisure Education groups provided by Recreation Staff -Qualified, Licensed Teachers will be provided by contract with the Marshall County Board of Education. -Supervision of daily activities and behavioral and emotional support provided by Mental Health Technicians and Nursing staff. -Discharge Services, including referrals to psychiatrists, therapists, support groups, education services, vocational services, or any other needs identified that will benefit the resident and his/her family in recovery. -Trauma informed Care and Trauma Focused Care The diagnoses/issues of residents at PYV may include the following: -Mood disorders, including depression and bipolar disorder -Anxiety Disorders -Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder -Disruptive Behavior Disorders -Dual Diagnosis Psychiatric and Substance Abuse -Residents on Autism Spectrum that are verbal, communicative, and can reasonably benefit from-and participate in-the treatment process
