The SRCDC will build a self-sustainable community and assist the Iya Woslal Ha communities towards becoming more self-sufficient through housing and economic development, mentorship and youth programming, and food sovereignty growth. These activities are assuring to reflect the Indigenous values by integrating the Dakota/Lakota language into the organization. SRCDC will stimulate and foster leadership skills to encourage active civic participation in the governance and development of the communities. SRCDC offers an understanding of how the Iya Woslal Ha can become self-sustaining and create revolutionary community opportunities utilizing our grass-root possessions. Youth Activities and Mentorship Programs: mentoring Iya Woslal Ha people via cultural education, including but not limited to various youth camps, interactions with culture bearers, and community classes.
