Answer: Tee Jayes Country Place is a family-owned, family-operated company that believes every business starts with certain basic principles: a belief in who we are... what we represent ... how we conduct business ... and how we feel about our customers and employees. When our founders, Jules and Nita Sokol, opened their first restaurant, in September 1970, they wanted it to be an extension of their family and home. A friendly, folksy, warm place in which their customers could relax and feel just plain good. They also wanted to serve the kind of meals they grew up with home cooked, freshly made and with generous portions!
