Answer: I help women become money wise. I am a nationally recognized financial planner, business owner, and coach with 28 years of experience in finance. I have helped hundreds of women become financial advocates for themselves and others, helping them to confront and enhance the practical and emotional aspects of their money lives. Women naturally get together and talk about what matters to them work, health, family, relationships. But a recent Fidelity survey shows that 8 out of 10 women are uncomfortable talking about money even with those they are closest to. This leaves women financially vulnerable and carrying a bigger risk than they realize, lacking trust in themselves with respect to important decisions like investing, retirement savings, and long term planning, with potentially serious consequences. So what do we do? I am creating a movement to defy the taboo of talking about money by facilitating groups of women to share collective wisdom while building trust and confidence in themselves and each other. As women become stronger financially, their families and communities benefit. When women become decision makers in the world of money, a better world awaits for everyone.
