Our Mission Helping bridge the gap between patients and caregivers, healthcare professionals and research-focused biopharmaceutical companies, so that they can achieve their shared objective of developing better treatment options for a wide range of diseases. Our Purpose Patients are becoming a more central part of the planning, execution, and interpretation of clinical studies. As clinical trials become more patient-centric, Pharmaceutical Companies and other trial sponsors are seeking to tap into the insights of those battling a disease. However, most patients are ill-equipped to engage optimally with the clinical trials process. Correspondingly, as newly diagnosed patients mature into patient advocates, there are few resources available for them to learn about clinical trials and drug development at a level deep enough for them to effectively influence the design of trials and even new therapies. Salem Oaks immediate objective is to build a suite of educational products that will close this educational gap.
